How Is Your Health Coaching Approach Different To A Medical Doctor?
In my practice I combine all the benefits of Nutritional Therapy and Personal Training. I focus on connecting with you, giving you time to share your individual story so we can figure out the root cause of your symptoms or why you aren’t achieving your goals using a holistic approach. Our first consultation together can be upwards of 90 minutes. Thereafter, I will put together a tailored protocol using nutrition, fitness & lifestyle recommendations to help you achieve your goals and reclaim your health.
What Is A Nutritional Therapist?
Nutritional Therapy practitioners apply a science-based approach, using nutrition, to promote individual health. They may use a wide range of tools, such as testing for individual nutrient status, to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and to understand how these may contribute to an individual's symptoms and health concerns.
Nutritional Therapy practitioners consider each individual to be unique and recommend personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach. They will never recommend nutritional therapy as a replacement for medical advice, will often work alongside medical professionals, and will always refer clients with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms to their medical professional.
Why ‘Registered’ Nutritional Therapist?
Anyone can call themselves a Nutritional Therapist. However, BANT (The British Association of Nutritional Therapists) registered members have to be trained from an accredited course, have to annually prove they are continuing their training and have to abide by specific codes of conduct to remain certified.
What Is Personal Training?
Personal training applies physical exercise, stretching and mobility work to promote fitness, including strength, flexibility, endurance, agility, speed, power and/or mental wellbeing. Personal Trainers (PTs) assess an individual’s fitness levels, symptoms and health goals, whilst also allowing for current or previous injuries. This enables guidance on appropriate types of exercise and movement for an individual.
I Don’t Have Access To A Gym, Can I Still Make Progress?
Yes absolutely. I will tailor your exercise plan to the equipment you have, even if that is nothing at all. You can certainly get started and make progress without a gym membership.
How Do I Know If We’re A Good Fit?
I offer free discovery calls to give us a chance to meet, discuss your health goals, and see if we would be a good fit. To book one, click here.
Do You See Clients Worldwide?
Yes, as long as you can find a time on my calendar that suits you.
Do You See Clients Face-to-Face?
Currently I do not.
Why Are There Only Packages Available?
I currently only offer packages (as opposed to single consultations) because I believe it takes time to form habits and create long lasting changes to your health.
What Happens After Completing One Of The Packages?
You can continue with another package or we can discuss the possibility of booking single consultations depending on your individual circumstances. This is something we can discuss further in depth once we are working together.
However, some clients find that they do not need further support because they have either achieved their goals and reclaimed their health, or they have learnt so much from us working together that they feel confident in continuing their journey alone.
