In my mid 20’s I found myself with persistent hormonal related symptoms such as chronic fatigue, brain-fog, dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia, depression, some sexual & gut symptoms and more. My hormone levels were on the floor. This is known as “Post Finasteride Syndrome” (PFS) from taking Finasteride, a commonly prescribed medication.

I spent months searching for solutions within the medical field, but was told it wasn’t possible to still have these side effects after coming off the medication, so it must be all in my head. Sadly I was sent away with nothing more than an offer of anti-depressants, so I felt broken as a patient in the healthcare system.

I knew there had to be a better way, and that is when I found Naturopathic Medicine.

After extensive research, I drastically changed my own nutrition, fitness and lifestyle. Eventually, this led to big improvements in all my symptoms & body composition. The test results on my hormones & gut health verified how much better I feeling, and looking, month by month. All without any medications or hormonal treatments.

When I felt in a much better place myself, I decided I wanted to help others follow my path. So I began studying Nutritional Therapy Diploma Level 6 at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM). After a rigorous 3-year course, I graduated with a Distinction in 2022 - then became an Accredited Member of The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), a widely recognised regulatory body for Nutritional Therapists.

I have since furthered my education by becoming a Level 3 Personal Trainer.

When I’m not seeing clients or doing research, I am usually found eating large amounts of nutrient-dense foods or training in my home gym.
